Free Content for Reprint
LighthouseArticles.com is a free content article directory. This means that every webmaster, publisher, or editor may reprint your articles, subject to the terms and conditions outlined at this website. All the articles at this website are free and do not require payment to be published.
By submitting your article(s) to us:
- You declare that you are the sole owner and author of the article and own all copyrights pertaining to it.
- Your submission to LighthouseArticles.com gives us unconditional permission to publish your article on this website and on our RSS feed.
- Your submission to LighthouseArticles.com also gives unconditional permission for your articles to be reprinted in other websites, newsletters and ezines.
- LighthouseArticles.com reserves the right to re-classify your article in a topic category that may be more suitable than originally submitted.
- You acknowledge that we do not pay for submissions to our directory, and we do not require publishers to pay you for their use of your article.
- LighthouseArticles.com reserves the right to publish ads on the same pages as your articles.
Submission Guidelines
Article submissions to LightHouseArticles are free. They are added to our database after being approved, which can be roughly 2-3 working days. Before submitting an article, please search LightHouseArticles for the author name or article title, to ensure your articles have not already been submitted by someone else.
We strongly recommend that you do not submit articles that are not your own unless the author has given you permission to do so.
- All articles must be original articles.
- Do not include any affiliate program links.
- Submit your article to one category only. Multiple submissions of the same article will result in the article being removed. This might also lead to the author being suspended should we consider them to be abusing the system.
- You may include up to 2 hyperlinks in an article.
- You may include up to 2 hyperlinks in your Author Bio.
- All contact information should appear only in the author's bio.
- Every article must have an article summary (up to 500 characters). The purpose of the article summary is to give the reader a quick overview of your article. HTML tags are not allowed within the summary.
- Articles that are advertisements, or appear to be advertisements, will be considered spam and will not be approved for publication.
Article Title: maximum 150 characters.
Article: maximum of 15,000 characters or roughly 2,500 words.
Author Bio at the bottom of the article: 400 characters or roughly 60 words.
Please Note: These character limits include all spaces, line breaks, paragraph breaks and punctuation, so the actual number of characters will be less than the above numbers.
Submissions that are less than 200 words will be removed from the LightHouseArticles database. Longer articles may also be removed if they contain no useful content or are submitted for the sole purpose of obtaining back links or promoting a product or service.
Formatting and Links
We strongly recommend that authors submitting to LighthouseArticles copy and paste the articles from a text editor. This will ensure that paragraph breaks, line length and other basic formatting will be properly handled by our submission form. Copying and pasting content from applications like MS Word can result in a variety of formatting problems. This happens because MS Word and similar applications use non-ASCII, sometimes invisible, characters that are copied with the article content into the submission form, causing the articles to appear very differently from the way they were submitted.
You don't need to use any HTML in submitting your article. Fonts sizes, links etc, can be set through the online editor at LighthouseArticles.
We reserve the right for some minor editing, if we find gramatical errors.
Copyright and Violations
LighthouseArticles' policy prohibits the use of copyrighted material in a manner that violates the copyright of the owner. In general, this means that authors should only submit their own original written work.
In cases where copyright is disputed (usually as a result of plagiarism or unauthorized copying), articles will be immediately removed without recourse or discussion, regardless of the arguments presented by the disputing parties.

Illegal/Objectionable subject matter
Family Safe Content Only: We do not allow articles on pornography, escort services, sex toys, violence, illegal subjects (such as movie downloads), potentially dangerous information, or hate speech. This includes both written and visual material. This is by no means an exhaustive list, and LighthouseArticles reserves the right to reject any article.
Articles cannot include plagiarized material from any other person or source. You must own 100% of the article you publish.
Articles should not link to or promote online gambling sites.
Submissions that consist of a few lines of text with a link pointing to another site where the article supposedly resides will be removed.
Note: LighthouseArticles reserves the right to remove any article or articles for any reason with or without notice or explanation. In cases where the above or other guidelines are severely abused, so-called authors will be banned.
Actions to Take in the Event of Copyright Violation
LighthouseArticles is a free content article directory. We act as an intermediary between authors and publishers and post guidelines for both regarding copyright adherence. However, copyright resides with the authors who submit to our directory, not with us. As a consequence, LighthouseArticles has no legal standing to enforce copyright on behalf of authors.
In the event of copyright violation, we advise authors to exercise their rights under the The Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 by taking the following steps:
1. Contact the offending party directly asking them to rectify the copyright violation.
2. If the above fails, contact the ISP that hosts the offending website and the domain registrar that holds the registration for the website domain.
Information for the domain registrar and hosting service can generally be obtained by doing a lookup using any WhoIs service such as:
http://www.whois.net
3. Most Domain Registrars and ISPs will respond to a copyright enforcement request by warning or suspending the offending party. If they fail to do so, have a lawyer make the same request in writing. This last action rarely fails to produce results.
