Normally, when shooting high-contrast subjects, shadows can come out black with little detail and highlights are so overblown that details are lost. When human eyes see a real-live high-contrast view, they automatically compensate for the lighting and are able to distinguish detail in the shadows and also in the highlights. This is what the HDR procedure attempts to duplicate.rnHow can you take High Dynamic Range pictures? Really simple, go out and try it. |
